Although digital photography is now the media of the day some photographic jobs are still best shot on film. Where quality and detail are paramount it is still advisable to shoot onto film. An example would be fine art photography of paintings or pieces where intricate detail needs to be recorded, especially if the final shot is to be printed to a large size.
